Healtheries is New Zealand’s original health and wellness brand, but even better than that, they’re a returning client. Whoop! To promote their Immunity-Boosting Vitamin C and Deep Sleep Magnesium supplements, we brought back Riley, the affable protagonist from our previous campaign.
In collaboration with TBWA\New Zealand, we crafted two dynamic 15-second animations spotlighting each product. These short cuts amplify the energy: sharp edits, dynamic angles, and a playful antagonist—showing how small supplements can lead to grand adventures.
Who gives a flock about counting sheep when you have Healtheries Magnesium Deep Sleep Supplement? Just close your eyes, and you’ll see them in your dreams.
Meet Riley, our spirited, non-binary protagonist. Their name tops the charts across all genders, reflecting a universal appeal. Riley’s journey showcases a vibrant yet relatable life, mirrored in their smart-casual attire.
The outfit went through many iterations—the armchair fashion police were out in force. It’s amazing how much effort it takes to create an effortless look. The subtle infusion of the brand’s signature green and red was the guiding light that brought us home.
We took creative license with Riley’s proportions to help their movement groove seamlessly with the music. Their larger legs allowed for a low-camera-angle effect, adding depth and dynamism to their stride. The goal was simply to keep the rhythm and mood consistent—but we don’t mind picking up a few style points, too.
Inspired by Wellington's recognizable cityscape, mountains, and ocean, the whole campaign had to feel authentically New Zealand. Subtle details, like home interiors and local-style cafés, helped recreate the environment. But it was the infamous sheep-to-human ratio that provided us with the playful double entendre we were looking for.
Animation allows us to sculpt reality around our imagination. By personifying key elements, we made every frame more dynamic. The sun reacts hilariously to the mischievous germ. The sheep engage in human-like antics. And the moon tucks itself in for the night.
On any viewing, you might notice something different. But on every viewing, you’ll feel the spirit of New Zealand.
Our choice of color had multiple layers. We used warm, sunny vibes for energetic day scenes, while soothing purple tones represented restful nights. The chosen palette worked wonders as it also represented each product on display.
As for the background, we intentionally limited color here to keep the focus on the action and spotlight Riley, who’s rocking Healtheries’ signature red and green.
The beat runs through the an-im-a-ti-on. The speed might change, but the energy never drops. This consistent rhythm is present in all the clips, whether it’s an energetic day or a sleepy night.
By blending the 3D products into the visuals, the supplements leap out of the screen at you and still flow naturally with the surroundings
